Mortgage Advisor Responsibilities;
- Provide tailored mortgage and protection advice to clients, ensuring their needs are fully understood.
- Manage cases from initial enquiry through to completion, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Identify suitable protection solutions alongside mortgage recommendations.
- Build strong working relationships with the associated estate agency branches to maximise referral opportunities.
- Contribute to business growth across Ipswich, Chelmsford and Colchester.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all advice meets compliance and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with colleagues and administrative support to ensure cases progress efficiently.
Experience needed to become a Mortgage Advisor;
- At least one year’s relevant mortgage advising experience.
- Competent Adviser Status (CAS) is essential.
- Experience advising on both mortgages and protection is required.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and a commitment to delivering quality advice.
- Comfortable working predominantly office-based.
