Trainee Mortgage Advisor – Remote

The Company:

They are a small but thriving brokerage based in the North West, who deal with residential and specialist property finance. The firm have excellent customer reviews and provide only the best service to their clients, taking pride in their personal and dynamic approach.

Due to growth plans and internal promotion, they are looking to take on a Trainee Mortgage Advisor – you will start off providing administrative support to the Director, building your client base and skills from day one so you can smoothly transition into a Mortgage Advisor role. They are able to provide 1:1 training with genuine support – you won’t be left to fend for yourself – it is an excellent opportunity for someone to build their skills in a supportive and thriving business.

The Role:

You will start as a Mortgage Administrator on a part-time basis (up to 3-4 days per week), processing the mortgage cases from start to finish in order to expose you to the whole process. The role can gradually transition into full time after probation, then once you have CAS you will taper down your admin days and start dedicating time to advising.

From the start you will begin to build up your own client bank so you are ready to hit the ground running as a self-employed advisor, having the stability of a salary while you’re getting established.

The Person:

  • You will hold your CeMAP or equivalent already ideally.
  • Industry experience is not essential, but a background in mortgages, finance, property or a similar field will be advantageous.
  • High standards of customer service and excellent attention to detail.
  • Motivated to work towards targets and market yourself.
  • Genuinely cares about having a positive outcome for the client.
  • Dedicated learner who always aims to improve their knowledge.
  • Able to think independently and use your own initiative.
  • Looking for a career, not just a job.

The Setup:

  • Part time initially (2-4 days p/w), with the option to increase to full time.
  • 27k salary pro-rata (£13/hr), once advising you will earn a great split of all business you complete.
  • Leads provided for advisors, assistance building your own client bank.
  • Fully remote working.
